Day 2 was filled with learning, teamwork, and preparing for bright futures! 💙🐧

Dr. de la Peña inspired our scholars with the pathway to success: Graduate ➡️ Career ➡️ College ➡️ Military ➡️ Success! Our students also participated in exciting team-building activities led by Team de la Peña & Reeve, strengthening collaboration and building positive relationships.

Mr. Cruz, our Social Worker, shared a required student presentation and challenged scholars to begin thinking about meaningful ways to give back through a future community service project. Students also created and decorated their very own penguins, which they'll use all year to self-monitor the course credits they earn as they work toward graduation.

A huge thank you to our incredible JLA faculty and staff for facilitating and co-facilitating engaging learning experiences that are already setting the tone for an amazing school year. Together, we're building confident scholars and future graduates!
